This film is adapted from the traditional Chinese classic "Investiture of the Gods". It tells the story of the late Shang Dynasty when the fox spirit Daji entered the palace and disrupted the government. Jiang Ziya came down the mountain to eliminate the demon and fought with Daji many times. Eventually, Jiang Ziya joined forces with the soldiers of Xiqi to attack King Zhou of Shang and killed Daji.
