The story describes that Tan Cong, the nephew of Tan Min (played by Fu Sheng), one of the Ten Tigers of Guangdong, works as a patroller in a gambling house. One night, when the disciples and descendants of the Ten Tigers gathered at a casino, Tong Qi (played by Wang Li), a manchu man, along with Liang Xiaohu, the son of a former upright official, launched a surprise attack and killed Tan Cong. The reason is that Li Renzhao (Ti Lung) and Tan Min, among the Ten Tigers, were once the top players
