Su Jianfe

During the Great Leap Forward in 1958, in response to the provincial metallurgical conference's call for making use of local materials and smelting steel on a large scale, Yang Min (played by Zhang Yuan), the deputy secretary of the county's Party committee, broke away from superstition and, based on the clues provided by the masses, personally led an exploration team to the mountains to search for minerals. They conducted exploration and finally found a few pieces of iron ore, but they were conservative in their thinking
