Since 1993, TVB has seen a trend of remaking Jin Yong's dramas. Along with this came a series of fabricated Jin Yong dramas outside the main series, such as prequels or side stories. The peaceful life of Xu Xian, a young man from Hangzhou, was stirred up by a late autumn rainstorm. He passed by Zhou Tong, who bore him about seven parts in resemblance.
